I just moved here from San Diego and I was super bummed about leaving my car service place because they were awesome. But boy am I glad I found Fast Lane European! They were quick, affordable, and got me in right away. They were also extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Mason and his crew know what they are doing with BMWs of all year and models. They are a little pricey but you can trust their work.

Mason is one of the best. I was his #1 customer years ago, when he was still arranging his shop and today Fast Lane is taking care of our two Volvos... Very honest, respectful of your time and money he offers advice of what is needed and what are the best approaches but he never pushes you for anything. Great car service, great customer service.

These guys are honest mechanics, who have the integrity to tell you exactly what needs to be done, good or bad. I brought a recently purchased vehicle to them after the "check engine" light came on. Without their help I would have never have been able to resolve the situation with the previous owner. I think that their costs are reasonable, and not bloated. My only regret is that they only work on European cars!

Wanted to refresh my review for Fast Lane European. I've brought my E60 M5 to him for years without complaint. He has done some major work on my car and I always feel confident that what he tells me needs to be repaired is what needs to be repaired; nothing less nothing more. It's true he may not be that much more inexpensive than a BMW dealership, but he is a hell of a lot more honest in my opinion. Just an example of this is I had a friend who had an '08 M5 and had service done at BMW in Pleasanton. The service guy gave my buddy a $13k repair bill for emissions which included replacement of the catalytic converters. Trusting Mason, I gave him a call and gave him the low down and Mason quickly said that doesn't sound right. My friend drove his car from the East Bay where he resides and brought his car down to Mason. I don't recall the exact fix, but I don't believe the bill was more than $2k. I picked up a Pre-Owned BMW F10 M5 and before making that big decision I called Mason, and asked him his recommendation on warranty providers to make sure I bought one that he is used to working with or trusts. I think that speaks volume. Again, I have a warranty that I can bringing to BMW and have them work on my car and use my warranty, but I trust Mason. Also when my car was getting repairs done he would work with my warranty company and call Enterprise for my rental car. Great service!

I own a 2014 BMW M235i M Sport. I ordered some H&R lowering springs and wanted a nice professional install. Fast Lane seemed like the place to get dealership quality work with a more personalized type of experience. I contacted Mason, and after a few emails, we setup an appointment. I own a dealership very close to his shop (he was aware of that), and he actually stopped by to pick my car up, instead of having me drop it off. We went over my alignment specs and the overall car in general. He seemed to really understand what goes into these kinds of installs. I felt great letting him drive off in my car. A couple of days later the car was finished. Super clean install. The car was immaculate. I could not find anything "off" about the car. It has been 500 miles since the install and the suspension has settled nicely. No weird noises or clunks, alignment is perfect. Suspension work is tricky, as the install has to be done RIGHT. I can highly recommend Mason and Fast Lane. His prices aren't the cheapest. He may take a little longer than usual to initially respond to your inquiry, because he is so swamped, but trust me he does flawless work. Once your car is in his hands he will take care of it. Thank you.

Remarkable experience, unmatched in the local independent mechanic community! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MASON AND MIKE LANE FOR YOUR EUROPEAN CAR SERVICE NEEDS. Here's why. I have a 10+ year old BMW M3. It's been great, but recently I had a coolant system light go on and my car was at risk of overheating. I've taken my car to other shops before (who will be unnamed) and I didn't get a sense of ownership, quality, or advice from other shops like I did from Mike and Mason. Unfortunately, I can't afford to fix everything wrong with my car at once, so I asked Mason for advice. He rationally, patiently, and respectfully explained the situation, the amount of work necessary to avoid a catastrophic failure, and he gave me distinct options at different price points prioritized by urgency. Just what I was looking for! When I opted for the middle option, Mason then went ahead and did the top tier work at the mid-tier price... because he didn't want me to have to 'double pay' by bringing it back later for the same labor all over again. This is exceptional service! If you want transparent, constructive, expert advice on your BMW, go see Mike and Mason at Fast Lane. You won't be disappointed... in fact you'll be impressed! They are now my go-to mechanic for the life of my car. PROPS TO FAST LANE EUROPEAN!!!

I dealt with Mason, the owner. They did some repairs for me Friday for what I figure the dealership would have done for about 30-50% more. He stayed late to get it finished then called me to set up a delivery on Saturday (Note, they're closed on Saturday and a good mechanic's time is valuable.) so I could have it over the long weekend. They steam cleaned the engine to check the work. They also changed out a running lamp without being asked and without additional charge - just for nice. Not a huge deal but I don't expect freebies so not only was it a really nice gesture it's also a statement to their thoroughness. When I went to pick up the car he answered questions about the repairs, and other mechanical concerns I had about the car. He even pulled up pictures on the computer to explain the turbo design and brakes. There was no "callback pushy up-sell" asking for thousands more midday Friday as one comes to expect as part of the repair process. He did make me aware when I picked the car up that while going through and checking out the vehicle they found that my tires were nearing the wear bars, he recommended new tires soon though they didn't do tires. Also, he found that the shop that had previously done my brakes had used shoddy after market parts which is why my brakes were squeaking and that they were wearing unevenly. He quoted me a price and it was the same for him to do my front brakes with manufacturer or OEM parts as the clowns that did it with after market. (Note when he quoted me a price He didn't know what they had charged me). All in all an excellent experience. This will be my shop for the MINI and later should I wind up with a BMW as planned, they will work on that as well. Do your own DD but when you do, do yourself a favour and check them out. I don't as a rule take the time to do reviews but I am so pleased that I HAD to give them a shout. Recommended.

Everyone's ambition is to discover an automotive shop that is trustworthy and reliable. My exploration to find such a place had directed me to Fast Lane European. As a new owner of a BMW M3, I had to be confident and convinced that I find a shop that took a considerable amount of care for my vehicle. Immediately, Mason and his team at Fast Lane European had won me over with an immense knowledge of BMWs, incredible customer service, and exquisite workmanship. Mason is not the stereotypical auto shop owner who will suggest impractical repairs and charge you an arm and a leg to get it done. Every visit I've had, Mason has walked me through what needs to be worked on, what they're going to do to fix the repair, and why it's going to cost the price he throws at me. There were even a few times he had snapped a few pictures during the process of work to display the repairs I couldn't visibly see or understand to let me know that he wasn't just trying to steal my money. And I did not even ask for him to do such a thing. I will be the first person to admit that the prices here are never going to be reasonable for me. A car so particular such as a BMW M3 needs to be taken care of at a much higher level than your average vehicle and I've accepted to pay such costs. However, at least I know that Mason and his crew are trustworthy and reliable. I've finally found a shop that I have been searching for.
