I took my 2004 bmw to get serviced here and I cant say enough good things about this place. Nice people and were completely honest about everything that needed work on my car. I took my car to a different auto body shop about a month prior and my check engine light came back within a day! Mason and his tech found multiple problems that the previous place did not find and even showed me the old parts and how they were malfunctioning. I decided to repair all of the problems and Mason even paid for a rental car through enterprise for me to use while my car was being serviced! I got my car back the next day and was surprised that my car received a complementary car wash when I picked it up! Hands down the best experience I have ever received while servicing any car. This will definitely be my go-to car place!

I have a 2001 Volvo Cross Country V70 with 140K miles. I believe finding the right independent repair shop is really critical when you have an older car, especially now that older cars (2001) are fairly sophisticated and require modern methods and tools to repair them. I tried Fast Lane to fix a broken A/C and had a great experience. This is a small, well-run, well-kept garage--I like that. I like the fact that Mason, who greeted me when I pulled up, used to be a mechanic at the local Volvo dealership. I know enough about mechanical repairs on cars to feel pretty good about their knowledge. They replaced the A/C compressor (it needed it), even getting the parts from Burlingame dealer to turn the car around the same day. They also repaired the sliding sun roof which a prior independent Volvo repair shop had NOT repaired correctly. Mason gladly honored the 5% discount coupon from his web site. They also partner with Enterprise for loaners. Enterprise is 3 minutes down the road, they picked me up promptly and I was on my way with a rental (paid for by Fast Lane) for the day. It was my first try with Fast Lane, I will be back. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Fast Lane.

I have taken both my Volvo and BMW to Fast Lane European for maintenance and I'm very satisfied. Mason and staff make time to actually listen to your questions. Also no usual phone calls with "additional things which need to be fixed" as what seems to be the default procedure nowadays at most other car mechanic shops. Mason also takes the time to explain and show where potential issues are and gives honest advise which parts can still go for another 10000 miles. After maintenance the car feels awesome as it just got a new face lift. And got them back each time nice and shiny outside and inside. I can really recommend the service, quality of the work and pricing which is worth every penny.

I took my 2007 bmw which has over 100,000 miles & way overdue for service. The folks at Fast Lane european were very knowledgable and trustworthy. I had the option of taking care the most urgent issues with my car right away and the less urgent issues ill fix at a later time. They gave me a great price & even paid for my 2 day rental. Highly recommend them for their thorough service & ability to work with my tight budget!

We just had our 2007 Volvo XC90 serviced at Fast Lane European and had a great experience. Mason is extremely professional, thorough and knowledgeable. The shop is gorgeous and very clean. Best of all the price and service was right.

Our 2006 E90 needed some attention after years of faithful service as my wife's daily driver. I can do a lot of the normal maintenance, but once in a while you just need some extra help to do the things only a mechanic can do on today automobiles. Mason was very upfront on both the time it would take to perform the work as well as the cost. His work was thorough, the shop was clean and he took a lot of time to make sure I knew what he was doing. In fact, without even being asked, Mason kept the old parts that he had to replace to show me what was going on. Most places you have to remind them that you legally have a right to this (you do, call the BAR if you have issues). I knew what the problem was having been under the car and seen it myself, but Mason just kept them to ensure that I was shown what he saw as well. To top it all off, his dealership eclipsing service is very affordable and when you factor in the 6-star service, you can't bring your car to a better shop.

Wow - what great service! All the staff here are so friendly and helpful (not at all like other shop's I've been to where they make you feel like you're bothering them). I have two BMWs that are a few years old and have needed repairs. I've been to see Mason (the owner) with my cars several times over the past 6 months and each time he has been very knowledgeable and helpful. He always seems to know what the problem is and the best way to fix it. He's helped me by doing the repairs in the most efficient and cost-saving way possible (saving me literally thousands over dealer costs) and I'm totally satisfied with his work. My favorite part about coming here is that each time, Mason or one of his staff, takes the time to show me what was actually wrong and how it was repaired. One time he even had video for me of my broken transfer case chain. Now I know that the problems are really fixed! Thanks so much for keeping my cars on the road and running in tip top shape!

I recently bought a mini from a private seller that had been taking the car to mason to get serviced. Since he knew the history of the car we opted to stick with him. Given that this was the first service that the car had since we purchased it, we asked mason to check everything to see if anything was wrong. Mason called me up that day and walked me through some things that were concerning and told me if they were urgent/needed. He was really helpful and honest in educating us. I went with his recommendations and the car needed to stay in the shop for another day. Mason arranged for me to get a car rental and said he'd foot the cost! It was a really nice gesture so my girlfriend wouldn't have to ruin her day getting me back and forth as well. The next day I returned the rental and got to the shop. Mason was quick to greet me and was super friendly. He, again, walked me through the repairs and actually showed me what he had replaced (he showed me the cracked engine mounts). Overall a great experience considering what I was in for. Mason was helpful, friendly, and honest. I don't enjoy getting my car repaired but this has to be close to as good as it gets.

I recently bought a used 2009 Volvo from Los Angeles, and when I drove it back I wanted a local shop to take a look at it. I always prefer to find a shop that specializes in one or two makes. As a car guy, I honestly believe "Jack of all trades, master of none". I had a Honda shop work on my 14 years old Honda so when I bought this car, I know I needed a Volvo shop. I first came across Fast Lane European on Yelp. I filter Yelp reviews by how many of the reviewers that left reviews also left reviews at other places, because then you know that they are active reviewer and not paid shills. Fast Lane European had a bunch of reviews from people who are active Yelpers, not to mention they are walking distance from work, so I decided to give them a try. I've since used them five times in the two months I've had my car, and here are my thoughts. 1. Post-purchase inspection: Like I said, I bought a 2009 Volvo C70 from Los Angeles. When I ought it back I called Fast Lane European. Mason, the owner, answered and was able to fit me in for an inspection an hour later. He found a few problems and told me to go down to the local Volvo dealer to get them fixed under warranty. The whole encounter was pleasant and profession and my impression is that he is someone who takes pride in his work. Left happy, had the local dealer fix my problem. 2. Two weeks later I decided to get a trailer hitch installed. I ordered an aftermarket part from the internet based on my research, called Mason and made an appointment, and left the car with him. Got a call later and found out that part doesn't actually fit. When I went to pick my car he said there was no charge since he couldn't install it. Despite my insistence that he be paid for his time, he declined my offer to pay him. 3. A few weeks later I needed my 60k service. I need a few others thing done, so I called and set up an appointment. He ordered all the parts for me, had them ready when I brought the car in, and did the work in less time promised. Price is fair and there were no surprises. 4. Two days before Labor Day weekend I had a mishap on a Wednesday night. I called his first thing Thursday morning and he said to tow the car there. Turns out that I did more damage than I thought, which involved ordering new rims, new tires, and what not. Despite being completely booked for that Thursday and Friday, he managed to squeeze me in. He was honestly that he can't promise the car will be done before the weekend, but despite a repair that involved some serious logistics like involved ordering parts and going to tire shops, he managed to get my car done by Friday evening, which saved me rental car fees for the long weekend and I was able to go on my road trip. At the end of the day despite having a few more cars to work on, he took the time explaining AND showing me everything that was done. At no point did I feel like he was rushing me out of the door. 5. My audio system developed a buzzing noise that was most definitely not there two weeks ago. Today I took it to the local dealer since it was an warranty repair. When I picked it up they told me it was "normal" and basically told me that I need to live with it. I'm not a confrontational person so I was not going to call the mechanic at the dealership a liar, but I know that problem did not exist so when I left the dealer I took the car to Mason, without an appointment. 15 minutes and a small replacement audio jack later, that noise is gone, proving that I was right all along. Fast Lane European: 1, local dealer: 0. Every encounter I've had with Mason and his team at Fast Lane European has been professional, courteous, and they've been more than accommodating when I've been in a tight spot. In the last case, the took the time to figure out the problem that the dealer didn't. I count myself a very happy customer and I'll continue to go back to them as long as I live in the area and own a Volvo.
